Do you change music or what?

For the most part, levels play music on their own, and if a level is good enough to be dueled in, chances are the author knows where the music field is in level properties.

I love it when people ask questions but don't bother sharing their own opinion, I really do.

Mostly I dont change, but sometimes I do change to something faster.

If I don't have the music that originally came with the level, I put something nice on that I see fit with the style and maybe 'intensity' of the duel that is to come. Otherwise I just stick to the music playing when entering the level, unless it's really annoying.. *Ahh Nightfall in Noobland*

when i play duels i actually like some slow nice composed tune that loops patterns music well. when i turn on heavy music then i am almost forced to play very attackive.

I pretty much win most of my duels by playing tactical guitar tunes. ;D

No but really, I use the 3 first options variously, depending on my mood.

No, I usually listen to the music of the level or I change the music into some Sonic tune.

I only play GUITAR DUELS, so yeah, if that answers your question.

What if I play duels only with the Guitar Hero controller?

On second thought that would explain why I lose 9 out of 10 times..

I listen to the music my gun makes when it takes a life.

I see that isn't an option in your sissy poll.

A: I listen to the map's music. If there is none, then
B: I listen to my own.

I usually leave on either internet radio or iTunes, and just listen to whatever happens to be playing. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow.

After reading this post, I went off and tried using my Guitar Hero controller on JJ2. It "works."

Is it possible to use an Xbox360 wireless Guitar Hero controller with the 'official' bluetooth connector thingy from MS? The controller does act as a regular 360 controller would do, and can work for other games rather the experience..

I'd listen to my own music any day over the selfless techno trash you get in JJ2. :M

I mostly listen to the music that comes with the map. If I don't have the music file and I can't find it, I change to another track.

Although I never duel, those are the songs that tend to accelerate my pwnage [pʋ'nɑ:ʃ] the most:
Queen - I want to break free
Matthias Reim - Verdammt ich lieb dich

(which ofc leads to massive stymage [stɑj'mɑ:ʃ])

Raven aka StL

Actually, I got it wrong, it is "stymied", so "stymiage". xP

This is precisely what I'm doing, though I am using the wireless Rock Band 2 controller as opposed to the wireless GH controller.

Quick side note: the Xbox 360 does not use Bluetooth to connect its wireless peripherals. It's some weird proprietary RF signal, hence the need for the wireless receiver for Windows.

Slaz
Feb 5, 2009, 06:44 AM
Great to know.. For some reason I always thought the Xbox360 was using the same Bluetooth signal as all modern mobile devices such as cellphones. And that the required 'receiver' for Windows was just another way to rush in some money. Atleast all wireless peripherals meant to communicate with the 360 shall work, thus including any wireless guitar. Not that I'd win any duel by 'jamming' but it'll be too funny.

yeah gry great call on Queen..
"we are the champions"
"don't stop me now"
and before clanwars - "under pressure"
these songs were like made to be jackrabbit anthems i'm telling ya!!
