I spotted this DYK on the front page:
JJ1 levels have hidden messages that you can only find with J1CS. Several of them are telling you to go away, and one is even a hate message to Commander Keen.
I'm interested in seeing some of those messages, has anyone got a collection of them?

There is no comprehensive list, but they are easy enough to find for yourself if you download J1E and look around.

I was about to post the ones I remembered. Then I decided I had nothing better to do so I went and checked all levels.
Then it turned out that I had remembered all the ones.
Diamondus level 2 (LEVEL1.000): "tim is a dork"
Sluggion level 1 (LEVEL0.013): "EPIC" and "FU KKEN" (double entendre?)
Raneforus level 1 (LEVEL0.033): "SUCK MY (-)"
Deserto level 1 (LEVEL0.037): "CLIFF IS CO/EAT ME!/EPIC RULES"
Muckamok Guardian (LEVEL0.039): "LOSER" (repeatedly)
Lagunicus Guardian (LEVEL0.041): "(-) OFF LAMERZ" (historic note: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?p=169886#post169886)
Could have sworn there are more, though..

JJ1? Not as children friendly as you may think.

Also it is worth mentioning that the Lagunicus tileset had a tile that said "Watch out for Jazz 2!" or something like that.

Neither would JJ3 had it come out.
Dont think JJ2 had anything like JJ1 and 3 had though.

I guess that counts.
I was thinking more along the lines of vulgarities.

Thanks for the list cooba.
Regarding dirty messages: Wasn't there that one cheat in jj1 as well?
Unofficial levels on the other hand....
How about Devres25, anyone? (Well, just about all of that level series anyway...)
