Handsome squid jazz is simply genius.

Anyway I was in the process of making a modern game version of the LFG-2000, I got the model game ready aside from painting the textures but I couldn't get any feedback on it so I decided to scrap it. Anyway here is the result so far.

It is, of course, a toy gun.

Spaz's on the other hand is basically a recolor of Earthworm Jim's gun which basically means drugtrips were likely the only inspiration

The link in the signature doesn't work because you put both http:// and https:// at the start. Remove the http:// at the beginning.

Anyway, as for my thoughts on the remix; A big meh. I don't think the JJ theme really works as chill music if you do nothing more than edit samples and remove sections. It also sounds too raw (it's lacking in bass throughout the tune). I advise you look up music layering and play around with the BPM.

Well I do appreciate the feedback on the song! If you can't see it being a laid back version, I surely can. Even though the game is very fast paced, switching things up every now and then can't hurt. I remember when I was younger I would always play this game for the art more so than the gameplay to be honest. This remix was more of a test of my VST and I'm glad to say I got what I was looking for!

Yeah, there could've been a little more effort put into it, a black and white Jazz would've matched better. He doesn't care about Jazz at all, he just did it for me for some reason.

Not the right thread for this but you should give Undertale a shot. It's really good.

This is part of a mega remake idea that I had. Shortly, the episode "Jazz in Time" consists of 10 different ages, there's no Flashback episode, and between Formerly a Prince and Jazz in Time, there is an episode called "Between Dimensions". Its image is a parody of The Matrix.
It consists of a world of iron pipes, mechanical and technological parts, a world where things who shouldn't have existed are banished, and an abstract world similar to Agama's Sirius.

In the episode "Jazz in Time", you can choose the order in which you play the levels.
The ages/zones you can visit are:
- Jurassic
- Ancient Greece
- Zen Gardens
- Fantasy
- Pirates
- Gold Rush
- Colonial
- Hippie
- Computers
- Future

I'd rather have seen Spaz in a different pose. The one with the bird on his hand already exists.

EDIT: Here's a little experiment I did with Texture Maker.

I used a clouds texture I found on Google Images, and I applied it a distortion script I wrote, one that emulates the warp horizon texture mode used by JJ2.

The script lines I used are the following:
TOP:
ox=-((x/5)-0.1)/(y-1)
oy=-(y/10)/(y-1)
BOTTOM:
ox=((x/5)-0.1)/y
oy=((y/10)-0.1)/y

To make it actually work like a JJ2 texture, you would rather use (x/2)-0.25 than (x/5)-0.1

Looks atmospheric and gloomy, a bit like JJ2's jungle combined with Jungrock (but not like IC's Jungrock tileset). and I love the extra details you applied to those 2 enemies. The front trees look a bit flat though, don't let that discourage you. I like seeing these!

Meh, Epic Megagames logo should be kept for the sake of preservation and the authenticity to how the company was called when both JJ games were released and because that name was just better.

I mean, you don't see e.g. Rockstar go back to the games they did as DMA design, such as lemmings (and even the very first GTA), and change logos and names to R* ones.

All logos sucks ass now. Did you see how Windows 10 looks? It has one of the most dumbest startup screen with a blue garbage logo and not even a sound. Windows 98 start screen lools godly compared to this mess.

Coca cola logo became shadeless too. Heck, everything is shadeless and flat now, just like how flat and shadelessly boring most of the things are now.

I don't know if I'm making any sense lol.
