Ragnarok is doing the bash11 lists. I've asked him to do it right before posting this thread (hence the note in the first post) but apparently he's still in aftershock and unable to announce that anywhere...

He's finding it hard because there is not enough high quality levels made in 2008, and those that are good were included in bash10 already (thanks for rushing your (-) through the door guys!). I'm going with the assumption that no one minds several bash10 levels being repeated.

The lists-in-progress should be available soon.

I thought there was only a shortage of high quality battle levels. I actually do mind bash10 being repeated, it's just boring. Also, I would like to hear from Ragnarok, since he's organizing this and all.

In all honesty, I really don't think that the list really needs to have twenty levels from both gamemodes. With 20 levels there will always be filler, in form of either "classics" that all oldies tell you to put in (but will never join the server themselves), or levels that are lukewarm at best.

With 15 levels per gametype there won't be any "baww my level was missed" complaints either :)

It is. I use new posts and check out thread titles that look interesting, previous poster does not factor into this. Honestly, I can't be bothered to actually track whenever a certain person posts. Considering you're about the tenth person to make that claim I'd have to be running some kinda JCF information syndicate just to keep track of all of the people I supposedly follow.

Hell I barely post here anymore. This isn't like when I used to argue with Zapper all the time so he actually had some leverage when he pulled the stalker shtick. Get over yourself. You're not special, your mommy lied to you.

Okay here's the deal, I'll update you tonight.

I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to do the packs yet, I already have a load of levels but as you can imagine it does not come without its difficulties. I think some of the problems have been addressed to or referred to in this post already, so I don't feel the need to go into them; I've got it under control. Anyway, expect an update later, maybe, possibly, probably...

Bare in mind I can only properly do this stuff when I'm not too busy with school, and I had a load of advanced maths exams recently so I've been really stumped and stuff. This is why I haven't probably been posting here or updating as much as I could/should have. Anyway, please stop arguing! P.S. It's Persian New Year today. Woopwoop.

The lists look pretty good! There's one or two selections that I'd switch around (like FS' suggestion of Kings Crown) but that's just personal preferences. I missed the Bash the last few years due to both previous engagements and having gotten rather detached from jj2 but I'll be sure to at least make an appearance this year!

Oh, and I suppose you expect me to convert both RockinG StreetS and Cappuccino Sky to TSF now, right? ;P

This utility (http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=5368) will do the job for you, though a tileset change would still be needed before conversion. I didn't remake the original abattle for 1.23 in the first place because I really liked the large skyscrapers. In any case, the Bash co-ordinators may edit my level as they see fit.

I doubt many people would appreciate this version considering it has JAILS, and JAILS are just as bad as PITS. Though you probably meant Security Breach v2 with the seekers removed as I mentioned I would do earlier. No guarantees that I'll make my edits before the bash since I'm busy with other projects.

By the way, for those concerned about pits, you may want to check out and voice your opinion on Agony Void and Fortress Renovation. I don't particularly like the pit placement in those levels myself. And I guess other levels might have pit issues as well. I just wanted to point this out before people start crying "PITS" when the bash is hosted.

Haven't checked Fortress Renovation, but I don't think I have too much of a problem with the pits in Agony void.

Either I've mellowed out, played way more 3d sonic games than I did last year, or my standards have changed. I dont know.

ok when is the best time to come on the server? Any events or is the server just online alll the time and thats that? I'd like to whoop my clanleaders behind:)

Pffffft, you only beat the oldies because of superior numbers, the screenshots are proof!

But yeah we really are supposed to suck :p I haven't played since last bash and I'm sure it was that way for a lot of others, the fact that we were actually able to put up a decent fight (with inferior numbers even!) means that you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Had a fun few nostalgic games, see you all next year ;)
