Port forwarding confusion.

Im really stuck, i use JazzUDP and it still doesnt work.

I even forwarded 1 to 65534 UDP, and it still didnt work.
Im using a Belkin router, could someone please help me?

I want to join people's servers without getting timed out after 30 secs.

I've 'wasted' plenty of hours on port forwarding and router setups in the past to get this exact thing done. You're going to miss your 56k modem.

Sometimes your router strangely doesn't seem to react to portforwarding at all.

I've upgraded my connection speed to 3MB. Had to reset my router settings for that, but JJ2 appears to be working fine (plus I could be a less laggy host for non-europeans now).

Hamachi works well without having to worry about routers, although you'll only be able to join games with other people who are using hamachi.
