So, umm, Dutch people, what did they say? A transcription is obviously a lot to ask, but could we get a summary?

Oh, I listened to that a while ago... it really wasn't anything new, to me... mostly John and another dude going on a nostalgia trip. :P

I forgot most of the content already, so I can't really fill you in on the details. I have a short attention span. Oh wait THE MICROWAVE.

i remember they said in the beginning that jazzjackrabbit is a fantastic platformer. and that nobody believed a 2D game would get trough in that time when things for consoles (n64) were made like super mario 64.. which showed of that 3D worked. But jazzjackrabbit showed that a 2D platformer on the PC works fine. which was quite special since 3D was the upcoming gaming style. they said jazzjackrabbit was a very high quality platformer.. good on all fronts.. they were also talking about the good music. by robert allen. blah blah blah.. then they were talking about their childhood when they got jj2.. withouth knewing jj2 existed.. and about the bigger perspective (resolution). also first misunderstood that the whole same team worked on jj2. but then they mentioned alexander brandon continued the music making for jazzjackrabbit. which they found pretty good done (the remixes also).

they were also talking about the community.. that we had a anniversary bash and that it still exists. they said that like 200 people were playing die-hard and some other guys hanging around. and why the commnunity is still alive.. which was probably by the levelmaking and hosting your own level, the site and playing online itself. (so they also informed about jazz2online.com). then they were talking about TSF.. which dissapointed them. especially lori which they found a lame last drop in. and about failing publishers (also the site where you can get secret levels if you complete the secret files levels, was down already after 1 month). uh what else.. TSF wasn't that great but they've seen worse expansions. they really liked the music atleast. they actually appreciated the christmas versions more.. as they found it looked like they put more effort in it. like the christmas enemy's. they also liked the cheery tune, whare.j2b.

Then about jj3.. well we all know it was cancelled. and they wanted a new jj3.. (Btw they also had a interview with arjan brussee, but he couldn't say if there would ever be one made.. fail). then about the Gba game .. lol. they really found it awful. that they would die when playing it. it was just making a very awful hans solo rip off with "carrot grenades". in other words, a very bad game putting a good name under it. but that was probably because it wasn't the same jazz team.. working on it. well then the top 5 music (which i did not really find THAT good placed but well). well i think you can listen to the music.. if i remember it well then these were the places they put the music in.

5.haunted house
4. labrat
3.jazzjackrabbit menu (jj1)
2.tubelectric (jj1)
1. medivo (jj1)

well and they they blah blah on i can't remember more.. i am making this post very repetive anyway. i hope you can understand any of it.. didn't correct grammar. very lazy. of course. this is not the whole part

The best part was when the hosts were just bashing Jazz Jackrabbit Advance.

Meh one of the co-hosts, DJ Insomnia (if I heard it right) mentioned he's contributed a lot of content to this website (Jazz2Online) as well. Anyone have an idea who that is? Pretty cool to know there are other dutch people who are still Jazz-nerds. I've been listening to that podcast for the third time now, it doesn't get boring.
