Can't say I am a fan of most rap music, but there are songs now and then that I enjoy, and I certainly don't have anything against the genre itself. That said, I'll present a video too (I know it's a joke video but hey, it's a decent rap and I love it). Warning, foul language aplenty.

I only know the "Niggy Tardust" album myself, heard none of his other stuff. That one album is terrific though. For anyone who wants to try it: you actually get to choose wether you pay anything or not. Legally.

I like good hip-hop, but I haven't much to say in this area of music... I mean, mostly I like songs, not producers or emcees... Out of things I tend to listen to, I think most listened are Fort Minor, Xzibit, Eminem, Senti Qua, X-Ecutioners, Flobots and Lupe Fiasco (in somewhat that order). I probably look like a poseur now

blueprint 3 is very poppish with too-catchy beats and hooks, and minimal amounts of jay-z's brilliant rapping. topics are a selection from generic modern-day rich "hip-hop" celeb culture. overall it's pretty good music, but it's not jay's best art, and doesn't really have much soul...

Listened to this the other day. I thought the concept was awesome, but the outcoming result is really so-so. Notable tracks are the mash-ups of Ice Cube with Tool and Jay-Z with Marylin Manson. Others are mostly the same hip-hop songs with all the structure intact except with single loops from the rock songs as music + beats. Well, except the David Banner vs. Linkin Park and Dr. Dre vs. Korn, which are exactly the other way around.

Plus a yummy face and voice.

IIRC cantbe.mod is a remix too...
