It stands for Gurus of Proactive Warfare, if my memory serves.

For all intents and purposes:

BW = Black Wolves

But I am offended at being laughed at when I boldly proclaim that I am a Great Potato Worshipper!

When I first joined, GpW was said to be "God's Promise to Win", but now it's "Guru of Proactive Warfare".

http://www.clangpw.com I think is the site.

Warning: Continue reading only if you have a sense of humor, know how to laugh and how not to take things seriously.

I remember a time when A$ was called (//), Cracco Clan was called (//), and (/) was called (//).

PiZZa: Late intolerable filter bypass edit. If this were a recent post, this would have resulted in a warning. I have nothing better to do than edit posts from 2001.

GpW= Gurus of Proactive Warfare

It used to stand for 'God Promise to Win'.

Shadow (the master boss of all bosses, aka dutchboy http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif ) changed it cuz ppl didn't find the name too cool. Sooo, he made it cool, even though I bugged him non-stop that I liked the old one better (I do). Oh well http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I actually liked GPW's old abbreviation better. Gurus of Proactive Warfare sounds.... ruthless. God Promise to Win sounds more skillful. Just a thought.

ElectroPiZZa, it was just meant to be a joke, like one of yours, I'm sorry if it offends you.

ShadowGPW

Well, in jj2 it sounds ok.. but in Counter-Strike Quake or UnrealTournament it sounds pretty lame and let it be that we are a Multie Game Clan?

But also we changed totally, New Webpage, New Members, New Games, New Rules and New Leaders (Well most of them) So i was thinking why not a new name too..

and whammo Gurus of proactive Warfare

GpW (http://gpw.gamepoint.net/v2/) - Gurus of proactive Warfare and it used to be God promise to win but while it sounds okay on jj2, shad('Dutchboy' as disguise put it) has a point about how it probably looked on other games ^-^

Hehe, I remember when GPW was Clan God Promised to Win. I had no idea where they got that. I was happy when it was changed to Guru of Proactive Warfare. Sounds tougher.
