How the active online players are finally taking over the community forums, which for a long time belonged mostly to people who thought they were "too old to play this game"? That's pretty awesome.

I have to agree with you there space. Oh and I find it pretty sad they can't play and enjoy JJ2 as they feel there too old for it. Epic may of had the target audience for more younger people but it doesn't stop you from having fun. This has to be one of the most best ,fun featured 2d shooter around. I get bored of JJ2 every once and a while, so i'll stop playing for some months but I'll always come back because I ENJOY (Thats a key word here) this game, It doesn't grow stale either, with people creating some fantastic tile sets (Gus, Dodges, blade etc) Levels (Toni ,Agnes, Snooze) and of course Blur's JJ2+

Its not like JJ2 can take much time up either in 2008-2009 I didn't have much time however I could still fit in at least a 10 minute game of JJ2.

I may be too old for this game but that's just such a bad argument/excuse.
However that doesn't stop me from enjoying it so call the fun police :D.
Its often joked about that this is a "silly bunny r.a.bbit videogame", ok fair enough We can actuary edit the anims now, lets replace them with a boring cliché touch guy ! Then I would like to see the excuses ;) It may be a "silly bunny r.a.bbit videogame" but its also one of the best 2d shooters so if your that low to let the sprites get you down, then I pity you I really do. Besides the sprites aren't too kiddie, The jazz sprite imo is pretty badass. The Jazz from JJ1 a different story.

JJ2 forever. and I made a big deal out of something, hehehehe....eh

I have noticed this trend, largely because people keep putting threads elsewhere that should be in Online Play. I have nothing against it so long as we can all get along and not complain about newbies or gamehaters or other ridiculous appellations; neither someone who does have time (or a suitable router configuration) to play JJ2 nor someone who doesn't is inherently better than the other.

Yep Speeza, I'd feel very sad if I felt too old to like something. I still like the same things as I was 10. Being connected to my childhood is extremely important to me, never in my life I've been as happy as I was back then.

And being happy in life and enjoying it is what life's all about.

Yeah its frikkin swell. Why all these people who are too old to play JJ2 still hanging around this place pretty sad for them. This forum is about the game Jazz Jackrabbit. needs to stay like that. You aren't too old for anything my brothers and sisters.
