Team games or Duels?

Do you think team games are more Important than Duels or the other way around or... both or whatever..

I think actually Team games and Duels are equally Important...

I'm more of a team game kinda guy. Always lacked the calm nerves and the cool finishing touches that are required when one plays duels. Well ok, granted, those aren't bad skills for team games either, but when it comes to team games, I was usually the "altruistic" player of the bunch, the tireless midfielder if you will:)

Duels and 3v3s or larger games are nice.
2v2s have always been overrated.

I don't really like to make this thread lethargic but I am sick of duels because I always get pwned, I am better with team games anyway, especially when I have good players on my team.

Was always partial to duels to be honest. 2vs2 games can be fun but anything bigger just becomes too chaotic for me, I prefer other gametypes or just plain free-for-all battle with a big crowd.

In team modes like Capture the Flag or Domination where team coordination is important to effective play, I prefer smaller numbers of players, since you can actually coordinate something. In other game modes (including non-team ones), I almost always prefer larger numbers of players.
Between duels and 2vs2 CTF games, I guess I prefer duels, barely. I'm not sure what Skele means by "important" in this context. If it's for determining general player skill, then I'd say duels are - in my experience you can be fairly certain someone who's good at non-team gametypes will be decent in team gametypes, but the reverse is less true.
