Hey, I was playing the original Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and I got all the way to the episode "Funky Monkeys." Then I was reading this website and decided I wanted to try out the online portion of the game, but realized I would need to install Jazz Jackrabbit 2: The Secret Files (I was planning on waiting until after I beat the original game to install it), so I did... but it saved over my old version of the game! So now I lost my savefile near the very end of the game. ): If anybody could send me a savefile either with all of the levels beaten, or just up to "Funky Monkeys," it would be a huge help! Thanks.

Well, for a start I don't think you actually need TSF to play online, though if you have it anyway I guess that's fine. I don't have any save files, but you could always use cheat codes if you wanted to.

Just type 'jjnxt' until you are in Funky Monkeys.

Or, if you don't have it unlocked, in an earlier episode.

You probably had v1.20. You can play online there, too. But that version has some bugs, and because of it, I am pretty sure there aren't much players who plays it online (maybe 2-3 per week). It is fixed in 1.23 and 1.24 (TSF - The Secret Files). More bugs were fixed with Plus. So if you wanna play online, the best solution for you is: Play with plus, whichever version of JJ2 supports it.
You could use jjnxt for the next levels until you are in FM, but I think I sent you PM with that file.

Yeah, none of the servers online used the original version of JJR2 which is why I upgraded... not like anybody was online in TSF either anyway. :/
Thanks for the cheat code suggestion - I hadn't even thought of that! (:

There are always servers running 60 seconds a minut, 60 minuts an hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year and who knows what more. Usually there are also people online, are you sure you went to party mode->internet and not local network? Or do you mean there werent many people online? (if its a technical problem people here can help you to fix it)

An alternative to JJNXT: set up your computer so that you can run .j2l files through JJ2 directly, and open jungle1.j2l (or whatever the right filename is) in JJ2.
