Actually the title isn't quite accurate, I mean looking for someone to create a non-JJ2+ compatible music file heavily based off the Coldplay song Violet Hill. That's about it.

And admins, feel free to move to the appropriate category.

Although the way he says it is at least untypical, I believe he means a non-plussed JJ2 compatible music; something mod-based.

...anything but a midi. They just sound so artifical (don't get me wrong I don't think synthesised music is bad, what I mean that midis sometimes try to emulate a real instrument that is so easy to tell it's computerised) and bland. I think midis are only good for having as a base for remixes, or taking as a note to learn a tune, not for listening in levels. That's my thought on it really. Some might disagree with me but whatever.

mod-based.Fair enough. In that case I don't know about a mod similar to Violet Hill, but for what it matters, there's a <a href="http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=65799">module version of Clocks</a>

Yes, exactly! I have NEVER been good with technical terms.

I'm pretty sure that breaks copyright and that's why I asked for someone to create something BASED off the song but not quite it. Figures I would need to request it not look around because it's a) Not a single and b) Copyright, though I already said that.

To be honest, I don't think you'd get in trouble for using a "copyrighted" song/music whatever in some old shooting rabbits game. It isn't a massive community like youtube where you have to make misleading titles to get away with such things and you aren't reselling it. J2o admins might go on at me for this, but what music company would check such a primitive site? What about videogame music? I've seen several people use music from other games in levels and they don't get into any sort of trouble at all. Even popular levelmakers do this. Maybe there's a difference, but I don't know quite exactly how it is...

Uploading an original copyrighted song is not allowed, but I don't think MOD covers/remixes are much of a problem.

There's <a href="http://mods.jazz2online.com/1068/2unlimit.mod/info/">several</a> <a href="http://mods.jazz2online.com/3407/bitesdust.it/info/">of</a> <a href="http://mods.jazz2online.com/1306/HALLOWEE.S3M/info/">those</a> on J2O already anyway, not to mention the countless ripped game soundtrack songs.

Thanks a lot you two then, great help. Maybe I'll contact the guy who made the Dreempipes remix and see if he'll take this project. What was his name? Joshua Reed? Yes, that's it. I'll email him right now!
