My server is PINGING!!!...again...

Well, i don't understand why, but my server doesn't work again ...
I have last version of JJ2+... I tried host server in 1.24 and 1.23 version but players said: "It's pinging".

What i must do to improve this mess?

Have you changed your router, firewall or ISP recently? If your server has worked before, that would seem like the most likely explanation to me.

My server is not pinging again...I just checked off Jazz Jackrabbit 2 in Windows Firewal...Damn! AGAIN!! ;) Well, anyway, thx you guys for help...

Windows 8 successfully ruined my life. I DID deactivate Firewall for JJ2. I tried COMPLETELY deactivating firewall and even the antivirus. IT WAS STILL PINGING!!!
Also, it doesn't send or recieve any "baud" EVER!!!

This is impossible! I DESPERATELY NEED HELP!!!

Thanks for the necrobump. Why did you have to bump a thread that didn't pertain to you in the first place?

Many people seem to completely overlook that you need to re-open ports. Sometimes my server starts pinging again, despite that I have a static IP. I just need to close and then re-open the ports, then it works fine.

Everyone has a different router so opening ports is not always the same.
