Hey guys, don't come around here much anymore but I need some help. Working on my tileset and doing some polishing work. However I need some help here with some drawing.

I need some help with shadows. Some of these tiles need shadows but I'm horrible at drawing. I want them to look natural, not just black lines.

These need some work to make the top look smooth. Can't think of the word for what they need, but they don't look natural.

Same thing as above.

If you need a reference to what some tiles should look like, heres my full set.

I'd do this myself but I'm horrible at drawing and I need help. If anyone can I really apricate it. Thanks! I'll try to find a way to re-pay the favor.

Ah, I should be able to help out, though I might point you to UR's nice new Art Requests (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=19109) thread. I admit that it's getting a bit late where I am and I'm a bit tired, but in the morning I should be able to do some drawing. One or two things though:
For the first image, I'm assuming you mean shadows cast by the pipes onto the brown 'cave' tiles. If the shadow is cast to the right and down, then extra tiles would have to be added exclusively for shadows. I might suggest changing the tiles so that you only have one horizontal pipe, but that's from a tileset maker's perspective, not a tileset converter's. If you aren't too worried about tile-for-tile accuracy, then that would be a good way to go, I think.
For the second and third images, I'm not quite sure. I can see what you mean by not quite looking natural, but I don't really have any ideas on how to fix them.

1: Thanks I missed the art thing. I'll use that next time.

2: If you look the the picture of my whole tileset, I'm trying to match the shadow from the small pipes. Basically I just want shadows underneath pipes that are facing horizontally. If you want another example look at the the shadows in some of the floor tiles.

3: I'll try and help you there. For number 3, the slopes look at the top of the tileset and look at how it looks smoothed over. Try to make something like that if possible. For the second one, scroll down to tiles above the black pipes. If you look at some of those tiles you can see how they have a kind of shadowing effect to the sides. Try to do that.

Hope that helps out.
