Last week, I registered for the JCF, I was hopeful and excited!... That is, until I reached the Verification E-Mail. It was never sent, so I had to PM Stijn on J2O and ask him about it, he manually Verified my account for me. Later, I tried to reset my password(I forgot it ), but I got the same problem, it never got to me. I even checked my Spam Box, nothing. So, again, I PMed Stijn, he then manually changed my password for me(If you're reading this, Stijn, thanks!). So, I assumed this was a problem that only happened for me, but I decided I would make a thread soon, then today came. Some guy I don't even know messaged me out of the blue telling me the exact same thing that happened to me(He said that he wasn't receiving his Verification E-Mail, and he tried 3 times! :O). So, I said "Why are you messaging me? I don't even know you!", and I haven't had a reply yet. So, why does this happen? I use Yahoo! for my E-Mail. The new version. Also, earlier, I subscribed to a thread I opened, I STILL didn't get any E-Mails. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it? By the way, I think it might be my Spam-Guards, but I can't figure out how to turn those off, and isn't that just that thing that redirects certain E-Mails to my Spam Box? Also, I checked my Trash Folder, that didn't have anything either. This is really annoying me, so does anyone know how to fix this problem or why it happens?

From what I know they have disabled the e-mail activation. We were some time ago really annoyed by a spambot family, and as a countermeasure we had to make the activation manual.

Now that you mention it, I haven't been receiving emails for PM notifications either. I'm also using a Yahoo address for the JCF.

Stijn, any ideas?

Woah. That might actually be the case. Massive props to you for remembering that, I've been trying to wrap my head around why e-mails aren't being sent correctly for a while now :)

So, looks like I can fix it fairly easily. Stay tuned!

Okay, I think e-mails work again now. Let me know if there still seems to be a problem.
