First of all, Mods, if this doesn't belong here feel free to move/delete it :)
Hi/Sal/Hoi/Ohaiyou everyone,
I'm having a slight problem with trying to read JJ2's chat. It seems the memory of the chat strings is dynamically allocated and changes every time JJ2 is restarted. I can ofcourse detect the address in, for example, cheat engine by typing somthing random and searching for that, but that only gives me the address for the current run.
I must say I'm rather new to reading this kind of memory, and I don't have a clue at the moment on how to do it...
I hope someone can help me by pointing me in the right direction :)
P.S: someone mentioned I could read the Packets that are sent over the net instead. However this seems like a foolish workaround for me, especially for TCP packets... Any thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance :)
