There is a chance we might be able to see Jazz Jackrabbit being sold again. I've been rummaging through GOG.com lately (for those who are unfamiliar with the service, they sell classic PC games as downloadable titles), and noticed they had a voting section where players can vote for games they want to see on the site.

Jazz Jackrabbit already has over 1000 votes.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is just under 1000.

The Secret Files and Christmas Chronicles are also up there.

Now, the great thing is that Epic is already selling games through GOG. If the interest is there, I'm sure we will see Epic selling copies of JJ again. It might not be a new Jazz Jackrabbit title, but it could be a foothold for the green hare at least. Plus GOG usually goes one step further with some nice bonus content. Soundtracks, guides, wallpapers and stuff.

Indeed, as there's some of Epic's old games on there as well, there's actually a chance this could happen (as opposed to the "Epic plz make a new jazz game" petition that's floating around).

I had voted on the games some time ago already, so I can only echo Hare's message. If you're not familiar with the site yet do look around a bit, they sell a lot of other cool old games (as well as newer ones) for reasonable prices, and there's no DRM in case you're concerned about that sort of thing.

Also of note, Interplay is having a 50% off weekend sale there (ends at around noon on the 16th). I got Earthworm Jim 1+2 for 3 bucks. I'm debating on picking up the Descent series. They are only like 3 bucks per game.

I imagine that if Jazz were to be released on GOG, it would be priced about the same
6 bucks for JJ1
Maybe 10 for JJ2

6 bucks for JJ1
That would be a lot better than $25 (http://www.epicclassics.com/order.html).
