Alright, so which one'a you bozos here edits TV Tropes and kept it relatively up to date with information? It has information about the online players, and the last edit date was on April 12th, so SOMEONE here does something to its article.

When playing online you'll be hard-pressed to find ANY experienced player who isn't playing Spaz.

JJ 2 has tons, one of the most dramatic being the Multiple Combo Event. In the level editor, placing 3-6 of certain events in a certain order with certain parameters does anything from generating random bullets (including lasers and beta weapons) to lots of enemies to copies of the main character on a hoverboard, that make you dizzy if you touch them.
(not exactly a recent discovery, but recent enough to make me wonder who would have stuck it into the article)

A fan-made editor for JJ1 was later released.
(to my best - though probably wrong - knowledge a JJ1 editor wasn't released until 2010, which is fairly recent)

And the kicker:

Surprisingly the games still maintain an active online community, and Jazz 2 is still actively played online by the proud and the few to this day.

Show yourself!

Actually, MCEs date back to 1998, and JJ1 level editors to 2003. So they both predate the TVTropes website. (I don't know offhand when MCEs went down from eight events to three, but certainly well before late 2004, when they went from four tiles wide to two.)

I loved how JJ2 was mentioned in a TVTropes article about gemstones found fully polished in a natural envoirement. Another notable title there was Disney's Snow White with the polished gems in the dwarf`s mines. I don`t remember the name of that trope and don't know who added JJ2, but it was funny. :p

Thanks. I was probably too lazy to look it up this morning. 8D

On a related note, the TVTropes article on Goomba Stomp (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GoombaStomp) is headlined with a quote from the Jazz Jackrabbit comic. I have never felt happier :D
