JCS Awards 2013 - Nominations

It's that time of year again, which JCSers eagerly wait for - the return of the JCS Awards! Although the quantity of uploads this year may have been low compared to previous years, there were no doubt some excellent levels this year which deserve recognition. The addition of AngelScript has been a significant milestone in history of JCS, and will no doubt be explored further in the years to come.

For those of you new to the system: this thread is for nominating award-worthy levels from the past year. Feel free to nominate anything, even your own uploads if you're feeling less noble. Once the nomination period is over (in a few days), another thread will open where you can vote for your favourite uploads in their respective categories, based on a list of nominations formulated from the response to this thread.

It's probably noteworthy that the Best Tileset category is absent this year, due to the total absence of good tileset releases last year (prove me wrong). I should also elaborate that the Best Use of Angelscript category refers specifically to the most effective/creative application of scripting to a level concept, and not simply "the best level that happens to use AngelScript".

If there's any other categories you think should be included, feel free to mention them. Else, get nominating!

Why not add a "Single Player / Cooperative" line?

"Other" would just stand for Treasure, Race, Domination and so on.

I don't like the idea of merging the Single Player and Cooperative line with the other ones, because if the winner is a race game and there has been a really good single player episode uploaded lately ... well, that's UNFAIR for who made the SP episode!

I'd like to nominate my own upload to the SP category: Literally Frozen Spring (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/7146/-/). Those 2 levels weren't too big an effort, but people apparently enjoyed them, so why not. :p

For the other categories, well, I shamefully haven't checked many downloads last year. Not enough to make a fair vote. I did enjoy Ozymandius and plusTetris a lot!

If I can find the time, I might check and play the final list of nominees once the thread is there.
