I made a tileset today.(this is my first time.)
It seems very normal.. but..

...

Oh.. what a beautiful colo.. wait.. what?
What's that?
Why objects(rabbit, heart, numbers..) colors are so.. ridiculous? (Absolutely, tiles colors are fine!)

Ha.. Is there any solution about it?
I want to upload this tileset on J2O, but if it doesn't solved.. nah..
I really need a help!

(as you can see, I use the PalSuite3 with Jazz2pal!)

So weirdly, No problem about gameplay itself..
Hmm.. is the tileset's format make a problem? I was save it .bmp(256 colors) and convert it..

A quick solution would be to check the Remap tileset palette box when compiling the tileset in JCS, but this may affect any colours used in your tileset from palette entries 16-95, if such is the case.

I would also make the background tiles darker, as that screenshot looks very jarring.

What does your 256-color palette look like, and what do you mean by "converting" the bmp?

You mean this?
I download it from here (http://www.jazz2online.com/tilesets/programs.php)

what do you mean by "converting" the bmp?

oh sorry. I mean, Building or Rebuild a tileset.

This.

.bmp to .j2t
(it looks almost converting.)

check the Remap tileset palette box when compiling the tileset in JCS

Remap tileset palette box?.. in the JCS?..
then, could you show me where is it exactly?

Ok.. I almost finish my tileset.
But there are some problem.. still!!..

1. How to make the color 'Black' in .bmp(256 colors)?

Of course, I'm not talking about how to make the 'actual black'(red-0,green-0,blue-0).

For example, if I draw the 'black' line in the tileset or mask, it would be blank when build that tile. not black line.(I mean, at least that result is not I want.)

So I tried something 'very similar' colors instead black.. such as.. 'red-11,green-0,blue-0','red-0,green-11,blue-0'(or any other seems black BUT not exactly black)...

However..

God wasn't help to me..

It was recognize all of them to same as black! even they're exist on 'Jazz 2 fixed palette colors', but if it seems like a black, then they're changed to black when I save it!..

So I rely on only 'red-27,green-31,blue-47' when I use the black..(this color is seems black, but that is not I want!..)

2. Why I should always check the 'Remap tile set palette box' when I 'copy and paste' or 'move' (filename).j2t files to somewhere or into another version's file?

What do you think about if you download the tileset and check the 'remap tileset palette box' at first? that's very annoying work!

Is it just a problem about file format? or.. others also do so?

3. Is there any solution about those?

(I really sorry about my VERY BAD english.. but I don't know how to explain it properly in english!..)

Just as a general tip, http://www.jazz2online.com/tilesets/ has a lot of useful information on tilesets, in case you haven't read it already. Especially the "compiling" and "palette" pages seem relevant to your problem.
