MMO games begin as mediocre games, but are constantly improved, and nothing is discarded.
I think we should make a MMO Jazz Jackrabbit game, including all known Jazz Jackrabbit adventures and multiplayer levels.
We will include all MMO stuff, such as the friends panel, the player level, the world maps, the missions list, the gift shop and all.
The special value that you purchase premium items with will be Earlong Rings.
We will initially upload the game to a lesser website such as Kongregate or ArmorGames.
And when the game finally takes shape, we will upload it to Facebook and create the game's own web page.

People DO pay money for premium items, so we can gain money and use it to improve the game.

Obvious problem: rights to the IP.

MMOs are a pretty dead genre. It's been years since an MMO was truly succesful. Also Epic doesn't do MMO's. This idea has pretty much no chance of being succesful.

Then what the hell is Fortnite if not an MMO?

But about this idea, I don't think MMO in JJ universe would work out. I mean, everyone would want to play as Jazz, Spaz or Lori, not some random rabbit.

because obviously everyone in Star Wars: The Old Republic is playing as either Luke Skywalker, Han Solo or Darth Vader

Even if an MMO comes, it'll most likely be just like any other MMO.

This try of making a game will fail just like every other try failed :P

Dennis, a Jazz MMO wouldn't work. If you really want a new Jazz game, learn a programming language(Not as hard as you'd think!), and make one.

MMO's are a little dubious in the first place. In the starting days of WoW, the idea of a whole community interacting and organizing through the game itself was very special. But in the end everyone just likes to play with a fixed group of friends and call it a day.

So if that's the case, you'd call any game that integrates gameplay and community an MMO.

And no, I don't think Jazz should go in that direction. If a new Jazz game is made, I wouldn't mind it having RPG elements but multiplayer should take a more traditional approach including a serverlist and standalone matches.
