Yep, I just played the game Jazz Jackrabbit 2 again, and had a lot of fun, it's been far too long since I have been part of this community for real.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is a fun sidescroller.

Since I'm a big fan of guns, and also like flamethrowers, I enjoyed playing as a red rabbit who uses these weapons a lot. And these goofy creatures were fun to kill and not to mention funny.

Now my question is, how much has changed about this website since I left? I'm sure there is a lot that's changed. I was a teenager back when I was very active here. Back then I got in a lot of trouble as I was too stupid to follow the rules properly. Now that I'm an adult, older and more mature, that won't be happening again.

Some of you might be wondering who I am. Well, when I was a kid my name here was Bjarni Cool, The Real One Bjarni and names of those kinds, and the levels I made back in the day were horrible.

Anyway my question is, what single player levels are worth playing that are new since I left? It's been over a decade, I did play the game again for a bit in 2009, but I haven't played it on regular basis for a very long time. It's been a decade at least. In fact I checked when my latest level was made, and wow, it was all the way back in 2004, so it's been a long time.

Also, I'm thinking about returning to level making. I know the levels I made in the past were horrible, but I can learn from that and make better levels. If not, that's ok, I can handle criticism. Keep in mind that this is currently just a thought, I'm not officially back to level making yet.

Not much has changed. The community has been pretty stagnant at the moment.

The only thing I can recommend is checking out recent single player levels with decent/good ratings. I'm not much of a SP player. Not much has come out in the past few months.

Oh thank you I will for sure. But sadly I can't review said levels at the moment as I'm still banned on the main website for something I did back in 2004. I hope that ban gets lifted soon.

I am gonna download some new levels for sure though.

Oh trust me, I did, I messaged Violet on these forums via PM. I'm now just waiting for him to respond.

It's this one: http://www.jazz2online.com/user/1030/blaze-the-movie-fan/

I thought one of the many Bjarni's was your original account. :p

Either way, welcome back! This proves that formally leaving never works out, and people always return once they feel like it.

Thank you all for welcoming me back it's good to be back. And you are right that one of my Bjarni accounts are my original account, but I don't use any of them anymore as my Internet name is no longer Bjarni.

I was on vacation, but I guess the problem has been resolved?

Yep, it sure has.

By the way I remember you, I remember you well, you were very active back when I was a kid. It's good to see you're still here. But most people active now joined after I left in 2004, so I don't recognize most of them.

You do? That's nice. But yeah I'm glad to be back, and I assure you that my next levelpack will have a lot of effort put into it.

I have to be honest, I am honored that more people than I thought are still here. So that means I was wrong, there are indeed many people here who knew me back when I was a kid who are still here.

And you guys are welcoming me back despite the fact I made some of the worst levels on the website. To be fair though, it is excusable since I was a kid back then. But yeah, I'm glad to be back. And as you can tell I'm a lot more mature now than I was back then.

Also, can I get any recommendations on levels I can play? I don't care if they're recent or old, I want to clean my mouth off those awful levels I made during my kid years. The only reason I downloaded them is because I wanted to see how bad they were and they were bad.

I know I can search by ratings, but I wanna know from the community what levels they recommend the most.

Well, everyone's noob in the begining ;) You're now able to make good levels because you have now experience from your past levels. Never feel bad if you're noob.

Anyway, I think the enemies in a level should have more AI instead of just walking in circle. More like if they see you- they come to attack. Maybe it's possible via Angle scripting.

And nice to meet you.

My personal favourite SP episode is FSP: Rent Collection (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/3482/-/), so if you haven't played that, I highly recommend it.

I also hear that EvilMike's episodically released pack (http://www.jazz2online.com/downloads/index.php?filetype=4&filesort=uploadTime&filesorttype=desc&filerating=&userID=17) from about 8 years ago is fantastic, so that's probably worth looking into(Although, it's very long, and also pretty diffcult).
