Most of the name origins are easy to guess. Carrotus, Diamondus, Ceramicus, are all common names with -us in the end.
The ones I have no clue on, or at least on a part of, are the following:
- Technoir (why Techno, and is its suffix the french "Noir" or the acronym "I.R."?)
- Fanolint (the "olint" part)
- Nippius (The "nippi" part could mean many things, but nothing ice related comes to my mind)
- Marbelara (why "Lara"?)
- Pezrock (is Pez the spanish for Fish, or those rectangular candies?)
- Crysilis (I know it comes from Crystal, but why "ilis"?)
And the unofficial ones:
- Grentenus (it's green, but what does "tenus" stand for?)
- Ozymandius (no, seriously, nothing egypt related comes to my mind at all)

"Nippy" means cold. "Chrysalis" is an existing word derived from the ancient greek for "gold".

"Crysilis" sounds like it could be a combo between 'Crisis' and 'Crystal', but that's probably not it.

The "Fan" in "Fanolint" is obvious, the "Olint" part is most likely referencing this infamous greenhouse supplier (http://www.olint.com).

Pretty sure Pezrock is referring to the candies.

Marbelara, I'm guessing is referring to the marble statues and temple/rich house type blocks. I always picture them as differently stained shades of marble stone.

I do wonder, though: if we have Nippius from JJ1, does that make the Hippie world from JJ2...Hippius?

I was rather thinking of a name like "Psychedelion". Because Colon stands for Colonius, we know, but Hippius/Psychedelion is officially known as "Psych".

The beach world probably has no name, as "Beachius" just sounds wrong.

Hey, I learned something. :)

I shared this link to the JJ2+ chat group a while back (http://www.sistematubelectric.com.ar/), but I don't know if there's any connection--likely, the planet came first.

IIRC Meerd is a popular family name in the Netherlands.

Also, you forgot the important part, Pipes is Sepip backwards.

So the name is actually a backwords version of Mirrored Seepip, and it's written with a diffirent pronounsation, like Raneforus.

Seriously, guys. What does dreem mean (or should I say, MEEN)
