It's not like epic cares about us or anything, i doubt that one epic employee ever visited this site or still remembers JJ2, even jazzjackrabbit . net has a download there

It's illegal to download JJ2 Full version for free.

So Epic can sue J2O for hosting JJ2 download link.

I am assuming it is the reason.

Not necessarily sue J2O, but they could shut the site down. Besides, it's very easy to find a download of the game, so it's not like J2O is making it hard to find or something.

Or better ask yourself, why aren't they digitally distributing the games yet? It's been asked all over the internet for years and, as I recall, even in person. Surely they must know the demand is there.

I know the original Epic team got disbanded pretty badly, so you'd almost assume the majority of current employees thinks gaming started with Gears of War..

Well, the old Fixorz meme worked back in the day, why not hound Epic with badly photoshopped memes about releasing their classic games online until they cave? :p

(BTW, as a side-note, the open pointy bracket (The counterpart to this: >) broke my post when I tried to use it... I assume that's a weird XML-related thing, but is there any way around it?)

It does have a link to a website that does have an installer for all of the JJ2+ supportable versions, along with the patch itself, though...

Yeah, if Epic sees this, J2O is good as dead.

Epic probably wouldn't care at all if we put up JJ2 for download on J2O.

We're not going to do it, however, because we believe it's a game that is still worth paying for.

Consider this the official J2O response.
