So I was looking to find out who owns Jazz Jackrabbit franchise and to find out where to buy it and why it is not on Steam. I end up on https://www.jazz2online.com/wiki/?Obtaining_The_Games#h-1 which contains broken links and I couldn't find answer to any of my questions.

Epic Games owns Jazz. There is no legal way to obtain any game in the series (except HH94 and HH95, which are free) besides getting lucky on eBay or Amazon or garage sales or whatever.

getting lucky
If you're an American who doesn't want to import it.

Across Europe, copies of Jazz 2 are a dime a dozen(Not literally, but they're everywhere, and they're very cheap).

Jazz 1 is... Yeah, a lot more difficult. Still, keep an eye out, and you should be able to get a copy eventually. I got a sealed copy on eBay for like £13 a few years ago.

As Violet said, Epic owns Jazz. Since Epic apparently doesn't like money, or games with colours in them these days, you're unlikely to see it pop up on Steam any time soon.

Still, they'll probably release all their older games someday. There's enough demand for them on sites like GoG.

Today Epic's releasing Fortnight (https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite) (early access), which appears to be both colorful and cartoony. They're definitely exploring other territories ever since Cliff left and sold off the Gears of War IP to Microsoft.

Not that this necessarily means anything regarding a digital release of their classics, but this and the fact they already have their more 'recent' catalog on GoG and Steam is a start I guess.
