I don't think Jazz's hairstyle was inspired by any particular character. Bandanas are a common feature of action movie heroes, so that probably figures into it being one of Jazz's attributes.

The original idea for Jazz was literally <a href="https://www.jazz2online.com/articles/256/cliffyb-on-jj2-not-an-interview/">Rambo Rabbit</a>, so I'd think that's the most direct link. Although any comparisons should probably account for <a href="https://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showpost.php?p=479259&postcount=17">his original sprites</a>.

Could also be inspired from captain Bucky O'Hare.. A green space bunny with a gun that was also on air during that time.
