New Jazz Jackrabbit Easter-Egg revealed in Horizon Forbidden West! 😮

Maybe some of you remember the Easter-Egg from the first game Horizon Zero Dawn, where there are 2 extra rabbits in the game. Normally when you scan a rabbit it just says "Rabbit". But when you scan these two, one is called "Jazz" and the other is called "Jack"! This is of course a reference to the game Jazz Jackrabbit.

A very good friend of mine was responsible for adding this Easter-Egg to the game. Now the sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, has come out (for a while now), and during a gameplay video, another (similar) Jazz Jackrabbit Easter-Egg gets revealed... accidentally! 😉

So is the Forbidden West easter egg that there were supposed to be two nameless rabbits in an area, but instead there are four?

It were supposed to be 2 named rabbits, Spaz and Lori. But the dev didn't get permission to implement it. In the end he secretly snuck in 2 extra nameless rabbits. He doesn't make clear whether there were supposed to be rabbits in that area of the game before he added those.

Definitely a cool story, but not really an easter egg by itself without the dev explanation.
