I thought it was a good idea to create a thread about everything we know about the Jazz Jackrabbit 1 BETA.

A few days ago, I found a strange CD-ROM online. It was a shareware CD-ROM containing many amazing shareware titles. It also came with a little piece of paper with some screenshots. One of those screenshots was a JJ1 BETA screenshot:

This looked like one of those CD-ROMs where the creators made the screenshots themselves. So, of course, I was hoping for a BETA version of Jazz Jackrabbit 1 on the CD-ROM. Alas... No such luck.

However, I did find a high-quality JJ1 BETA screenshot on the CD-ROM. I don't believe we have a PNG BETA screenshot yet with such high-quality:

So what are your thoughts?
Do you have more info related to the JJ1 BETA?
