I just read through the readme file about the new 32-bit color mode (https://docs.jj2.plus/#thirtytwobit), but I'm not sure how I actually get access to that feature with Jazz2+ beta v6.2. I still only find game resolutions of max 16bit in the video options of Jazz2+.

I also read the newspost on moddb (https://www.moddb.com/mods/jazz-jackrabbit-2-plus) regarding Plus v6.2a and its addition of the 32-bit color mode, but no explanation how to activate this in-game. Currently I run the game in 16-bit color mode.

I tested the plus32bitgraphics level within the Home Cooked Levels folder, and once a broke the first crate, many of the sprites just turned dark red.

Individual tiles and sprites within individual tilesets and levels may be 32-bit. This means that they don't depend on the current level (or tileset)'s 256-color palette, and that they may use an alpha channel.

They are rendered in a 16-bit window.

The example level has many examples of 32-bit graphics and lots of text explaining which ones are 8-bit (the ones that turn red) and which ones are 32-bit (the ones that don't) and why.

Aah, OK, that explains a lot. Thanks for the reply.
