"Player names staying red after a cycle" is a newly discovered bug from this thread. So far no details are known for how to reproduce it--what gamemode, for example?--but perhaps if it gets a thread, somebody will figure out some more details.

The names of players in playerlist stay red after level cycle.
Just yesterday I've been playing No-Fire battle with my friends and discovered some pretty annoying bugs which either confused me, or did not allow me to see the game at all. As we all know, when the player looses all their lives and is OUT, their name changes color to red. It worked in level 1, but after cycling to another level, the names stayed red. It seems like they stayed red only for me tho (Only for me as a host) Also there is this new SKULL symbol. The skull symbol does not appear everytime. The names which stayed red, did not receive the skull symbol after being OUT... and my only indication that they are really OUT is yellow ZERO.
WARNING! Notice about the screenshots: The screenshots have been edited, to remove either CHAT, or IPs, so if you see weird stuff at the area where IPs should be, or bottom missing of one of the screenshots, it has been removed to protect personal information, or rude comments.
I will also attach a short PLAYLOG to let you understand how the game progressed. The IPs from the playlog were hidden.

This screenshot shows that there is no difference between player which is OUT and player which is still alive. (CryXia is DEAD has 0 lives and is OUT, but there is no skull and the names was red entire game) enie has a red name, but is still alive, her name was red from the start when the level cycled. (enie has 2 lives)

Black screen is shown in this screenshot. This is where I got roasted (Clank[NC] has 0 lives and is OUT) Entire time I see only black, the playerlist and chat. As you can see while I had white name, in playerlist I was correctly given red name and a skull symbol, unlike with CryXia who's name was red from the start

In this screenshot the game is finished, and we can see who lost and who won. Vinnie[NC] won, even tho she has a red name, I lost have 0 lives and have white name during cycling? CryXia lost and still has red name. Mega confusing.

The new game has started! CryXia still has red name and Vinnie[NC] as well, even tho she won the previous game.

For easier troubleshooting I am also attaching a playlog to let you see who was OUT and who won. It contains 6 games. First (ODJAKZIVAPHOTO2.j2l) is not basically counted, because it was a level before we cycled to the main game. I really hope I was able to remove all the IPs because they are shown too many times.

- I replicated the infinite black screen bug. It happens when the host is out in LRS, clients get to spectate as normal.
- Playername colours (and icons) not updating I could not replicate in my own server with 6.6a, I thought this used to be a bug in Zeal Duels but I also can't replicate it there. I tried on Zeal Duels 2.
- I tried it again on Zeal Duels 1 and Zeal Duels 4. Here I got a bug where the name remained white while it should be red. Similarily, on pestilence the names don't turn green when being zombified (but fur still changes). The Pest icon transfers over level cycles and when already switching out to other gamemodes like battle. However all these ZD4 bugs I can not replicate on my own server or on ZD2. ZD1/ZD4 might use an outdated version of plus, or runs mutators that bug out the playernames, hence why I haven't reported it in the past. It also used to happen with team colours on names staying when switching between /dom /ctf and /battle. This seems to be fixed by the server management. But the less ordinary game modes like /pest or /lrs have not been accounted for, all of which seem to be Zeal Duel 1 and Zeal Duels 4 server issues specifically.
- @Agent Clank: When you were hosting this LRS party, were you hosting with /latestversiononly on and /plusonly on and using the latest plus? Are any mutators enabled?

Glad this thread is active. I forgot to mention something. During the NF I was calling with friends, and they said they did not see the red names. It seems like it affected only me as a host. Clients probably saw the names normally in white. But I did not asked them explicitly. I just said that I see enie in red, and CryXia replied to me that he don't. Which ... I believe means I was only affected as a host by this bug.
