No, there is absolutely no way to do that. To be able to do it you would have to change all the layer data stuff around, messing up level stuff and all. It boggles the mind to even think about doing that ;P

I know I'VE wanted to be able to place red gems and stuff like that in the foreground and background!

It's for a level. I want to place trigger zone events in foreground (if you walk on a plate, a picture of J20 will appear on the foreground or something)

That'd be nice. There prolly is a way that you could do that, but the level wouldn't be playable.



Another thing that'd be nice is that Jazz could do a 360 rotation like in Sonic. And if he could switch layers, like in Sonic, you could do those run-around circle thingies. Yep. That'd be nice. Not gonna happen, but that'd be nice.

Why not just save the trouble and make Jazz in 3D so you won't have stupid layers? http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif As usual, CannibalBob has to think of the solutions!
