A weird thing happened last night about 12:15 pm, (my time, whatever that may be to you I don't know).

I joined Crono's server, where I realized that JJ2 had changed my name to "Hellraiser (idle)". At firts, I had no clue why this happened, but Kirby indormed me that it was a JJ2 bug, that very rarely occoured.

The same thing happened again in BlurredD's server, but Salamander and BlurredD had the same thing.

I was just wondering, could this be the result of an "idle" feature that was origionally planned for JJ2's online play?

it seems kinda weird.

-- A message to Fquist (or Bobby): Do you think it's possible to add a feature to upload screenshots to the JCF with your posts? Because I had to make an account with geocities to host this image, and I'm not even sure if it'll work.

Its a program that someone is running to change the addresses of your names. once you leave the server your name will be changed in the player edit screen :)

Yes, Overlord or Spazzyman once did it to me, he changed my name to [GpW]Newspaz[Blah] or something, quite funny but annoying to have to change it every time..

But my "idle" went away for a short period of time that night, and then came back. But when I went on JJ2 the next day, it was gone. I never once touched the registry (except to try to save the idle, but that didn't work

JJ2 Does NOT do this so dont be a idot! Your registry must have just overwridden it!

Actually, I intended for myself to have the (idle) at the end of my name to imply that I'm idle. I used spazzyman's long name prog to make my name "BlurredD (idle)" for when I was running my New Years server, but an unfortunate side-effect made several other people have (idle) appear at the end of their names. It probably has something to do with memory editing and the fact that only 14 characters can fit in a name. It just happens to be coincedence that my name is 14 characters long which is probably why all of (idle) appeared at the end of everyone's name instead of something like "sÀlÄmÃnDèR DMdle)" as it did one time (why do you need to know this?).

I previously tested long names before spazzyman made a prog on it, thus making me the first one to every have a long name (yes, I admit this). So I'm sorry if my discovery has ultimately lead to total confusion and chaos in the JJ2 community.
