Announcement: Lori Central status as of January 1st 2002

Here's the status so far:

Site's been moved to the proper server and so has been the domain name.

The only two things that await to be fixed, are:

The server needs PHP installed for LC to have the use of the comment system.
The domain name alias has to be fixed.


The second point means that if you go to www.loricentral.com (http://www.loricentral.com) now, it won't give you the site, but the server's root page or such.

When the site's back up, there will be nothing to little new things to see as it hasn't been updated at all. Most dates on Fanart comments are corrupt because of the move, so expect to see garbage instead of the date. I'll work on fixing that sometime.

There's a third, more pressing issue, which I will not mention until the site is up. I don't think it's a good time for it right now.

Hi folks, more info on LC and such.

First of all, the domain name's been paid for! This is good news, which means that Lori Central will retain her www.loricentral.com adress for another year.

Second, the site is already ready to surf, but, due to the lack of PHP on the server, I can't make the site available just yet. If push comes to shove, I may have to rig a PHP-less version again, which will kill the comment system there.

I hope to put up a good deal of new art and even a story I have recieved over the time. There won't be many changes to how the site looks as I've been drawing a blank when it comes to a new design. I have overhauled the code here and there, and will continue to do so, as long as I find the time for it.

As previously, the site wil retain it's rules against any mature stuff. Overly angsty stories will not be posted either, same goes for art, really. There will be no links to sites that are improper, such as the Italian Jazz Club.

That's all for now. I might have a job opening for a site updater, I might not. Depends on stuff.
