For a little artist humor
1: Plug scanner into PC using Parallel port or USB or firewire.
2: install software using included CD or floppy disk.
3: Restart
4: Restart
5: Restart
6: Pull the squirrel stuck in your heatsync out and then restart.
7: Turn scanner on.
8: Oops, scanner has to be turned on before Windows starts up.
9: Restart with scanner on (assuming squirrel has not crawled back in heatsync)
10: Load up program you are using to scan with.
11: SYSTEM CRASH! Restart for you!
12: Repeat 9 and 10.
13: Stick drawing to scan in scanner (depends on your scanner).
14: Scan picture with the scanning software.
15: SYSTEM FAILURE
16: throw PC out window of 30 story building, and repeat 9, 10, 13, and 14.
17: Success! It only took you 17648746872654 hours to scan 1 drawing! Your PC has now reformatted itself, repeat whole process to scan next drawing.
