For a little artist humor

1: Plug scanner into PC using Parallel port or USB or firewire.
2: install software using included CD or floppy disk.
3: Restart
4: Restart
5: Restart
6: Pull the squirrel stuck in your heatsync out and then restart.
7: Turn scanner on.
8: Oops, scanner has to be turned on before Windows starts up.
9: Restart with scanner on (assuming squirrel has not crawled back in heatsync)
10: Load up program you are using to scan with.
11: SYSTEM CRASH! Restart for you!
12: Repeat 9 and 10.
13: Stick drawing to scan in scanner (depends on your scanner).
14: Scan picture with the scanning software.
15: SYSTEM FAILURE
16: throw PC out window of 30 story building, and repeat 9, 10, 13, and 14.
17: Success! It only took you 17648746872654 hours to scan 1 drawing! Your PC has now reformatted itself, repeat whole process to scan next drawing.

28. Look at the mac's screen to see that the application is only supported for PCs.
29. Failure.

31: Mac refuses to reinstall OSs, sits there confused and unstartable

Sometimes when I've tried to scan the computer just restarted on it's own..

Failure. BIG Failure.

I have a rather decent, average scanner. Not that great, but it works without any major problems (y'know....blowing up, self-destruction, stuff like that...). And, I get lots of pathetic artwork onto the PC! Woo hoo!
