rules. I bought it about 6 days ago, and I must say it is one of the most engaging games I have ever played. (:



My creature is a cow, on the side of good. Despite my best efforts, though, he manages to eat my people occasionally when I'm not looking, as they run to pray at my temple. :P He knows how to use the store, fish, dance, and cast a water miracle. I control three villages ATM, and when I get home I plan to try to get ahold of those held by that snow guy. I might toss some rocks/fireballs over at him, because he's outside of my influence. Or I might set a bookmark in their town, grab a food miracle and zip over there, use it, and get out.



Hmm.

Nope, don't have it now but 'soon as I get me one of them bran' new 3D 'celerators I definitely will.

I run it fine on a Matrox G400 with 32MB video RAM. In fact, I run it at 1240x680 at maximum detail. My computer is a PIII450.

I tell you, if I didn't have my money saved up for other things, and my video card weren't so bad (well, it's actually okay, but not very good by today's standards), I would buy that game... *drool*

Seriously, love it. My little ape is so funny... I could tell you stories but they usually involve flaming poo (biggest mistake I ever made was teaching him lightning and fireball).

Woosh, big day today in black and white. I moved my creature into a 5th town I wanted to take, from lethys. So along walks my creature, (who BTW can cast food/wood/water miracles, harvest grain and reassign disciples. I plan to teach him more. he's still small though), and as soon as he enters lethy's domain, he gets set on fire by about five consecutive lightning bolt miracles. I move him out and heal him, and rain on him to put out the fire (:



Then along comes lethys' wolf type creature. He looks about the size of mine so I pick the fight. My poor cow gets w00ped by the wolf, almost died on me. I was angry, so I decide to cast some lighting on the wolf. I charge up the miracle, and hit the wolf with it...I neglected to notice that the wolf was right in the middle of the town I wanted, and I set half the villagers on fire. (: I did get the town though, and fried the wolf, although he didn't die. As soon as I took the town, Nemesis came in and wiped out my ally reeeeeeaaaaaaalllly quickly, and took the bit of the Creed which was in my allies nice little turtle. (I want a turtle (: ). So I'm planning to take out lethys, which I know I can do, and then deal with nemesis. *shudder* unless something else happens (:

I'll keep you all posted, as if you cared at all. :P

My brother-in-law offered to buy it for me, and I actually told him we could buy it for F. Quist. Then, we decided against it. (How much must it cost to ship stuff from the US to.. where F. Quist is.. Holland? F. Quist: Netherlands!)

I've just purchased and played it yesterday, and allow me to say it's great, very fun and captivating. One of the better games I've purchased in a while.

Actually, things are much quieter without him around. I had controlled the entire second island, but when I destroyed Lethys' temple, I found a way to get my creature back, so I went through the vortex, and started anew :P



My poor creature is being tortured by Lethy's. ): I have to capture 3 villages to stop him--I've gotten two. (:

the game is pretty cool but the controls aren't all that good. Well...just wanted to say it runs fine on our PII-400 MhZ (128 MB RAM, 12 MB Voodoo2 acclerator). 600*480 Pixels, High Detail.

Its pretty fun, but takes too much time

It takes too much time? I am finding it too easy, I am already on the second last land and my creature is only 30 (they grow to 80), so I am spending most of my time just playing skirmishes to get him bigger and get his personality refined. He has fought 16 battles against other creatures, and only lost 1. I have the technique down... its too easy now.



Oh well, it still a great great game, had fun playing it at the LAN too.

The tutor level is sooo slow to play.. ohwell.

It is definitely not too hard. It is quite easy to build a village, just make all the males disciple breeders, and wait for about 15 minutes. :P



Got my creature back, and lethys only has one town left. I think soon I'll be fighting Nemesis.
