And I want someone to handle Euro and US event scheduling and hosting. I would rather be a backup for events.
Find a person(s) who would be responsible and make a calendar of events and handle them and I have no problems in starting a new JDC season.

I could try to schedule... but I can't host everything.

Scheduling needs to be done by someone who can make or delegate power of hosting well. There can not be events that do not happen because a host or other moderators do not show.

Lol!
Much like Bobby, I also would prefer to be a minor player this time around. However, I do not mind being a primary event mod for a season.
Bobby, I can also create the schedule again, if that's cool with you.

Hey, if you need someone to host events, i'm willing to help. I got ADSL, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Note: i haven't done this before. If there's anything special about hosting i'd need to know, please tell me.

I'm already there, but I'm afraid I can't help you much longer since we've seen my connection LAGS while having more than 6 players.

You will be placed into an intensive training camp for two weeks, while living on bread and water...
No, not really that hard. :)

Are there anyway any things to know as a host?

If the people complain, don't listen.
If the people say everyone is here, don't listen.
If one of your friends is in the game, give them extra points.
If a JDC official says everyone is there, start the game. Then, unless one of your friends is in the game, go idle and do not give anyone any points.
Never host the gametype that your superiors tell you to.
Make the Pregame as short as possible.
Make amazingly small player limits.
Once the game is over, leave the server up for as long as possible. Kick off anyone who tries to join, saying "You're not in JDC, so you can't be here" even if they're in 1st place in the rankings or something like that.
Errr, actually, I don't know. Don't you dare follow any of those rules.

It will be at least a couple of weeks while I work on the JDC code, schedule events and do other things that need to be done.
