Hello,
why isn't Jazz Jackrabbit 2 TSF Freeware?

I think it would play much more Players the Game, when it is Freeware!

In Germany the Game cost only 3,99 € ... and ... the price is so little... that the Game can also be Freeware :D

We must start a Action that the Game would be Freeware!!!

Tobi

P.S.: Sorry for the bad English ;)

Tsk, funny Overload. *You* were the one who had a link to a warez site with TSF.

The reason JJ2 isn't freeware (and this goes for most not so popular games) is because stores are still trying to break even in the money they invested. It's not like they're still trying to make money off the game, they're just trying to get back the money they invested.

It still wont be freeware when we get the source right?

No.

Linux is open-source, but not freeware. (I think.)

Some Linux versions are freeware, but the most newer version aren't.

Linux is free. Some distros aren't but the OS itself is.

Anyway, I'm not sure if when we get the source code that the game will be free.. That's something we need to ask.

Who knows? Its possible we already have it but a 1.25 patch is being worked on in secret and they will release it with that...heh doubt it though.
