Is there anyway to play multiplayer in 1.23 with JJ2 shareware? I've patched the server list in the registry and can see other people's servers (I can't join them, of course, since I only have shareware right now and can only play sharectf), but other people can't see or play in my server.
If you know of any solution for this, please post.
(I'll be getting the full version in the mail sometime next week, by the way-I had to reformat my hard drive and I lost my JJ2 CD some time ago.)

Shareware doesn't have all the files (animation files, data files, etc.) that the full version has, so that prolly won't work. You can try. It's worth a laugh or two to see how phukny it turns out.

you''ll need data.j2d and jazz2.exe full added to your sw... that might work.

does Shareware have a catche folder?
It shouldn't... TS, just get a registered data.j2d and run the 1.23 patch.

You need around 3 or 4 files to play JJ2 only.
Jazz2.exe
Anims.j2a
Data.j2d
And the Epic animation so you can press Esc to skip.
I did this on a netcafe and it worked fine.
But anyways, why do you want to?
You have the full version already.

And by the way, that is illegal.

It is, but I thought Turtle Slayer had JJ2 full CD anyways.
