The screen was black and had weird blue very blurry cloud annimations on it, sometimes just small multi colored lines, sometimes it had a clone of everything all over the screen....never mind I fixed it thanks to Crono:D

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem with The Secret Files, and a couple of other games too. Is it a Direct X problem? I have all the latest drivers, and Direct X, but I think there was a problem because a game loaded older Direct x over it I think... My computer is Windows XP machine with a GeForce 4 MX 440. So please, Ginny, tell me what you did to fix the problem! I'd appreciate it so much! Thanks!

I did the same thing that Ginny did,
delete the files in my catche folder..go to your jazz2 folder than in that folder should be a folder named catche.
Open that folder and it will have the lvls and tilesets from the internet games you have joined.

Hmm, I don't know if such a folder is there, and I haven't joined in any internet levels or tilesets yet?

Argh. I can't expect you to help me if you had a different problem - that just happens to sound EXACTLY like mine... Oh well. I think the only solution is to re-install all Direct X files, or to get the nVidia Detonator patch - beta or not.

I'll just say quickly I solved the problem. If you want to read my finale post on the problem, go to the General Jazz forum, and read under "JJ2: TSF in Windows XP"

Thanks for your help though. I'll remember what you said in case I get the problem thanks to a catche folder.
