Custom Ranks...

Ok. Heres another thing I want on this board more than anything. (Except avatars). Ya know custom ranks? Well instead of JCF member, you could enter in whatever else. Also show how many times a person posts and say like after 50 or so posts you can get a custom rank? And maybe if you are thinking about avatars, after 250 posts or something you can get a custom avatar. (Also don't include any avatars on the site though. Let the people find there avatars and let them host em from somewhere else. It'll save time on this server). Just a few ideas. Lemme know what you think.

nope, was in JMMB before and people start to spam. So because of the spamming it's not an option :P

Avatars are useless. Custom ranks are useless.

What were the ranks? I think I remember 2. Though that may be all there were.

Custom ranks would be cool. Admins, give us lowly members an ability to call ourselves what we want! (After all, admins do it)

The spam effect was due to the fact that member title were based on the number of post that person had. If the custom titles were unrelated to post counts, then you wouldn't have the spam effect. (Of course you'll still have spam, but at least it won't cause an increase)

Yeah. Custom Ranks are fun. Still, just make it so you can use custom ranks and avatars without posts. Then there wouldn't be spam, the board would look good, and everyone would be happy! (I think):lol:

i love rankings. i hate the 'JCF Member' stuff. it's just so BLAND.

i mean, things could get excessive, like 'i am the best person ever and if you deny it i will destroy you hahahahahahahahahahhah' so there would need to be a character limitation.
