five years from now i'll think to myself 'y'know...i think im gonna hook up the old 1ghz and see how it runs...' ill snap my fingers in the air trying to remember the name, 'JJ2!...maybe the ol' clunker still works good enough.' then to my delight it will run good. and ill start up jazz jackrabbit and go to multiplayer mode and when the server list loads tears will flood my eyes when i see ghosts of all the servers ever on JJ2. then there it will be, Battle Server. empty and desolate, except for The Server. i will talk to him, but he will not respond.

I'll dry my eyes and go downstairs to get a drink. upon my return, i will send a message to Scorpius on MSN. 'hey bro, wanna jazz?'

'what do you mean?' he'll reply.
'you remember, Jazz Jackrabbit.'

and I'll start a server. he will join and together we will play a couple of rounds. tears will flow down my cheeks as i remember the first time i played 'fight club' with him.

then i will start up ICQ (2000b, cos the other updates will've sucked), and i'll message everyone on my list that there's a server up on Jazz.

they'll be confused at first, then will remember what that 'little rabbit head' is an icon for on their desktop.

they will come by the millions, and there will be two pages of servers. no, even three!

and then we will all laugh and run amok, gloating in our childhood memories. one by one, we leave after many hours of play.

then, Rest in peace, Jazz Jackrabbit 2.

I will remember how I wasted the best years of my life playing that game and why I didn't listen to my dad when he said, "Why do you still play that?" And then I will smile, knowing the little rabbit head is gone from my desktop and the CD was burned in a fireplace 4 years prior to this proposed occurance. Thus, no one will on Jazz will hear from me again and probably no one will even care or remember who I was.

Wow, that was quite a twist. Sorry bout that folks, I just felt like being different.

I'd still have you on ICQ, so you wouldn't be completely forgotten. :p
