as i tried to run a level i got the amnesia: out of memory error

first i thought, next i found out using a different the music file, an s3m in stead of .j2b fixed that nasty problem http://jazz2.***************/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif brilliant!

Playing in TSF mode also helps, you get an extra 2 megs of ram.

Do you mean an s3m of the same song? Or a different song? I could understand if they were different tracks, with the s3m being smaller...

And um.. no cursing/"starring".

aye, diff tracks - tho if i had used an s3m version of a j2b track it most probably would have worked too anyways

and mr spaz - the level im talkin bout is the first level of tomb rabbit 2 (which is why i eh... thought of that starred word when i ran into mr amnesia *again*) - a good thing i found out bout the music - so far tr2 is still amnesia-free (again, the *new* tileset im usin has 940 tiles http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif, im guessin that has somethin to do with it...)

When I first started playing Jazz2 and making levels, some of my most prized levels would not have ended up in the pack without knowledge like that. "Sandy Shells" (I think that's what I called it), probably wouldn't have ended up in the pack if it weren't for the realization that flipping destructable scenery is not a good idea =)

Oo! Oo! Tomb2! =)
