What is your progress on these problems right now?
Have you gotten anything fixed yet?
Is the sound working in other programs and just not in JJ2?
Have you tried reinstalling JJ2?
Was JJ2 working one day and then it stopped working the next? Did anything on your computer changed that may have caused JJ2 to freeze up? Or has your JJ2 always been like this?
What is running in your Ctrl+Alt+Del list?
You ask for an answer, not people asking for more details, but people can't give you an answer until you give more details. If you gave all the right details in your first message, you would probably have this figured out by now. It doesn't look like you read my "Read this before you post" article either, because if you did, you would know this.
And try spelling your words normally. When you use shortcuts like U, Neway, 2, yeh, PLZ, and stuff like that, it takes me 10 times longer to read your messages.

*slap slap slap slap (my head, not him)*
No need to reboot when an app freezes, just hold down Ctrl and Alt and Delete at the same time and you will be presented with a box which allows you to terminate applications.
As for your problem, I require that you be more specific.

As for sound:
The problem may well be that your sound is muted. It mhappens sometimes and it can really baffle you if you don;t know where to look so try this:
Start>Programs>Accesories>Entertainment>Volume control
Now untick any boxes (voila! if that doesn't fix the problem then its something deeper, next I will suggest direct x).

One thing I forgot to get you to try:
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Display (or right-click the desktop and click 'Properties')
Now go to 'Advanced,' and click a button there that brings up another dialog (I can't remember exactly what it says, but the button is something like 'Hardware Settings,' and appears near the bottom right)
In this new dialog there is a tab that contains a 'Hardware Acceleration' slider. It is probably set at 'Full.' Slide it down until it is set to 'None' or 'Off.' Now try running JJ2.

Well, i've sort-of fixed the sound problem, but my JJ2 keeps on freezing. And yes i know,im no dummy krezak because that was the first thing i did :P anyway, i dont want to try re-installing because it would wipe-out all of my good lvls and hard-to-get tilesets. And don't say to put it on a disc bcuz i don think it would work.
Im doomed. :(

There i think i solved the problem, i just had 2 re-install JJ2. Re-installing is annoying.
