Once mah internet dint work had nuthing to do so I made a hotel, was gonna be 1000x700 tiles :O re-formatted, lost half the work! (400x700) I am going to make it again now :P it had about 5 places to eat!!

Didn't anyone read the rules? Hotels for the contest have to be made from scratch, no using old or unfinished hotels.

What? But the rules doesn't say that you can't publish a half-finished hotel.

It clearly says:

You must make a brand new Hotel for this competition, you cannot use an old one you already made (even if you were allowed to an old tileset would most probarly give you a bad originality score).

My hotel isn't completely done yet, so it shouldn't count.

1. To take part at the contest you just have to send us(Disguise and/or me) the finished hotel and your nick. You don't have to sign up somewhere.

2. YOu aren't allowed to use a hotel u made before the contest ( you may host it also but then others could copy your ideas).

Whoa, lotsa unanswered questions here, I should've checked back long ago, evil me going on making tilesets for Mirrow instead of studying this.

Anyways, here are some ANSWERS! YaY! Finally!

1. There is this whole controversy on whether you couyld use an old hotel or not, half finished or whatever. Lemme explain to you why I put that rule there in the first place. Well, it's there FOR <b>YOUR</b> OWN GOOD! Why? SIMPLE! The biggest part of the score on hotels count on ORIGINALITY! I would imagine that a lot of the hotels would have pretty average scores with little difference in the Eyecandy and Design categories. If your tileset has been hosted and seen before poeple would've SEEN your ideas and more than likely copied the good ones, and SPLAT! down goes your originality rating because other people used it, your level will suffer and you would get a lower rating than expected, which could ruin your chances at winning no matter how good the level was before. If you made a Hotel and nobody has seen it before (or in this case perhaps a half-finished one) then I see no point in uploading it to us after doing some tweaks or whatnot. Besides, there is no real way we can tell when you made the hotel if you never hosted it before, so just shut up and submit it all innocently ;)
Apart from that, we would like the idea that people are actually enjoying (heheheh) themselves and having a wonderful time (MWAHAHAHA!!!) at the pleasures of making hotels!!! :D :D :D

2. We dont care if you put names into your hotel or not, you are welcome to, but you dont have to, we understand that the nature of this competition does not necessarily allow you to get people to ask for their names to be entered (unless you have done so without them even seeing the hotel). It's not somehting we will rate, so dont panic :p

3. I have made this clear, but I see some ppl still hesitating about this. You are allowed to use ANY tileset to make your hotel with, and I mean ANY tileset. Even epic sets (I really have no idea how You're gonna make hotels with those unless you use Colon), but yeah, use whatever you like, you could even make your own set, but that wont score you extra points for doing so, and I would think that it would be better to spend that extra time on the hotel itself.
P.S. A certain amount of eye candy will go towards the tileset aswell, a 5 minute paint job wont score as high as a well thought out tileset, but very little bias will go towards this rating.
