Servers list

Heya!

I'm making a program with Visual Basic and I was wondering if someone of you knows the commandline for make the game to go to the servers list (if exists)

I mean that u load the game and it goes directly to servers list

And is there a way to know in which dir is Jazz 2 installed with the registry entries?

I think it is cause what about the 1.23 patch?

In Epic Megagames page says that the patch looks for the registry entries...

im not 100% sure if it works for tsf like this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Epic MegaGames\Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Secret Files

(that could be for the TSF demo afaik)

I didn't find my jj2 dir in there...

I did, I found it there, just go to the Jazz Jackrabbit 2 and look in the right screen at right, and you will see "InstallDir"

Nope. It's not there. Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Secret Files has some keys in there. One of them shows its install dir but it's incorrect.

Oh yes it's true, only Jazz 32 show's em, and HH98 has 2 registrys, I found 2 one of thems has the InstallDir String

I can't load the server list of games to play across the internet. I could on my old computer but now i can't it always says error connecting to servers. WHY? i'm desperate to play a good battle game again

Well, lets see this is probably due to the error that your list server registry is out of date. I'd link you to the patch at J2C, but it is down...



I'll get list server stuff uploaded to J2O after I find someone who has it, but in the meantime, use http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/gip.php to connect to the list server games. You will only be able to connect to 1.21 (which is really 1.23) games.

An easy way to connect to a server list is 2 get XJJ2. im sure most of you have heard about it..... but i 4got where i downloaded it :P

u can download xxj2 at j2o (search for Other downloads, then somehwere in the beginning, its quite an old download already :P), hazes hideout (i think), jkm clansite, die hasenphote and so on



i dont think that solves the prob. it still connects to the same serverlist..

XJJ2 is not downloadable at J2O, afaik. Only at Haze's Hideout.

By the way, if anyone can get Pennywise to post it here...would be cool, and worth a review ;-)
