Due to computer problems (I will still use jcf and be online, as well as msn) I wont be playing jazz2 from a few days to a few years.
My computer crashed supposedly from a Kazaa virus, I wont be using kazaa anymore :D It says the hard drive is gone as well as CD drive.
If you have any ideas on how I could fix this please let me know.

I have to use my parent's computer currently with no Jazz :(

I guessed because Benjamin is the only Kazaa worm that is spreading.

Probably thats what it is then.
When I start the computer, it makes a sound as if its trying to detect the drives but cant find them, it continiously makes this sound instead of once like in a boot that works.

When I check the bios info or whatever it is, it says no HardDrive installed and No CD drive inststalled (and I have a CD burner :p)

But it says the floppy disk drive is installed it says, do you think there is anything I could do with that?

You might try going into CMOS and getting the drives redetected from there. You could also format your hard drive (though I suppose if it isn't being recognized that wouldn't be possible). Maybe you should stop using Kazaa, becuase it's trash and Morpheus is better. Or just buy a new computer. And why can't you just install Jazz2 on you're parents' computer? Oh sure, you've lost all your settings and levels, but you can at least play.

my parents dont want my stuff on their computer anyway..just found out I didnt delete tsf and only 1.23 :p
My computer was new and I only had it for about a month. I will stop using Kazaa yes. I wont be buying a new computer unless thats the only possible thing to do.

ok this is fixed basically.
To fix it I pressed some button on my keyboard esc or something, before it finished loading if you get what I mean. Then it showed up when I managed to get to windows as a trojan horse then I deleted the infected file cause that was my only option.

Do a full system scan now and delete any files found matching that virus name. Please post the scan results, including the detected files names unless they are personal and (extremely important here) the name of the virus, so I can tell you if the virus has other side effects you need to watch out for.

I'd had this virus on my comp. before. but that was for 5 years ago, back then i'd had an Pentium 200 back then. but who really cares about that anymore... :p

The question is "How did i removed it from the computer?"

Solution Past:
I've scanned the computer with Norton Antivirus to know where the virus was infected.
i've then used a file-compressor like Winrar or WinZip to compress the files that wasnt effected by the virus, into a bunsh of diskett's... and scanned them for virus, and after all that i've formated C:.

(Lot of work i've must say back then, but i'd didn't know any better :D)

Solution Now:
As for now, i'm scanning the comp. with Norton Antivirus 2002 to know where the virus is infected as before. and if i cannot delete it with NA2002. I've just save the important files that isnt infected into my D: and then i exit window into dos and and open the backup-prog. Norton Ghost* at D:. then i open the latest backup file i've have, to backup the whole C:. and when it's finished, i make some fixes to make it as it was before...

* Important: using this program you'd need an simmular of space that you'd used on C:\, you'd just have to use the highest comp.

PS. If you didnt know what i've was taklin about, then talk to someone that can explain it to you... or better yet, give an better solution. :)

YOu call that weak huh? It stopped my computer from booting into windows unless I pressed esc or something before it loaded then it bypassed the virus then I booted into windows, my antivirus program detected it as a trojan horse and I deleted the file.
