I have a lil' question!

Who is stronger in general: Devan or Bilsy?

I know Bilsy is really easy to beat if you know how,but I usually don't have any problems beating Devan, too,so,do tell!

Mwah... Bilsy is a tiny little bit stronger i think... he can teleport and his fireballs are like seekers... but actually neither of them is very hard (except if some sick person would put them in a small area :D

Bilsy is pathetically easy. Devan is far harder.

Actually, IMO Bilsy is much stronger given the right environment. Devan has more sheer power but is relatively easier to beat.

Could you guys decide??:D

Bilsy. He does 2 dmg per shot, apart from that, he is really easy to beat using cheap tactics. Just buttstomp and you dont get hurt. You cant say the same about Devan though :p

Apart from that, you can try adding normal enemies together with the bbosses, I can imagine some things like that can be a pain. Say, for example, Devan and 2 Witches guarding him }>

Devan is pathetic. It's actually, in the right environment, a challenge to kill Bilsy. He has a stupid name, though. :)

That's just the name in JCS.

A couple rapid fired powered up seekers, and Devan is history. He could even be beated with a regular blaster!

Bilsy is much harder. (A good way to judge is which one is easier to defeat with a blaster. I know I couldn't defeat Bilsy with only a blaster!)

They're both easy.
1. Avoid Bilsey's fireballs by using buttstomp.
2. Stomp Devan to death and he won't turn into a mutant.
It's that easy.:o Added scenery could make it difficult. Examples: Fighting Devan in a small area. Putting stomp blocks and spikes underneath the battle area for Bilsey so that you can't cheat.}>

It depends on the environment. I never got to see the Bilsy boss in an Epic single player lvl so I can't really judge them.

Instead, I built a small lvl in two versions. One with Devan and one with Bilsy. I couldn't defeat any of them :D but I died quicker when fighting against Bilsy so I guess Bilsy is harder. :p

Jazz isn't a hard game ;P

Jazz IS easy, it's designed for younger children IMO.

Jazz 2 is easy. Jazz 1 was much harder. (Heh... though that was back in my cheating days! I wish it was compatible with my current PC, I would go through without a single cheat code!)

hmmmmmm...

I think i,ve got it.
If you truly cannot decide, then havem both!
This would be really cruel, but a little screwy cause of the damage counter. I wouldn't do this meself, 1 boss is enough, but if you really wanted...

I like the buttstomp-block idea,though!:D

Devan is really easy. Just shoot with yer blaster at him and avoid him, like the other bosses. The seeker thing of Bilsy is harder.

With bilsy you hardly even have to avoid him. :p

I never really played JJ2 single player without jjnext so I never got to battle ANY of the bosses. ;-P

You mean that you actually had to use jjnext?:O

Jazz2's SP is so easy you could've probably finished the entire thing in Hard mode without dying more than 5 times and you'd end with 40 or 50-some lives. No levels need to be skipped, and the bosses are all fairly easy after you learn their manuevers and attacks.

No, but I was just interested in seeing the ending and didn't feel like playing a couple of old boring single player levels, right in the start of each level, before meeting a single enemie, I pressed jjnext :-)

They're both fairly easy, Bilsy is harder IMO. Devan can be super-flykicked, Bilsey can't be (easily).

I know how to beat Devan pretty easily: I just buttstomp him. When you shoot him his power goes up sometimes. The first time I played the dragon Devan part, I had to shoot him a lot, but now, when I shoot him once with my blaster, he falls down. It's pretty weird. I had a hard time beating the Bilsy Boss. It's because he can teleport, and his fire balls can get you mostly from anywhere.

Devan kind of has two power bars. Shooting, and stomping. Stomping is quite a bit lower then shooting, so if you're in shooting and stomp him, it goes down quite a bit, and if you're in stomping and shoot him, it goes up quite a bit.

If the last piece of damage you inflict on Devan in turtle form is a stomp, your first shot to him in devil form wil defeat him.

I find Devan harder personally.Bilsy dies faster and stomping makes him pathetically easy.I like the buttstomp scenery idea though.Devan can be lethal in a tiny area, although in the official levels, the arena is big enough to make Devan easy. The stomping to make Devan die as a devil is another glitch Epic overlooked, I guess. This is a REALLY rushed game.:)
