Well, actually, if you beleve in Creationism, I think your more likely to vote chicken. If you beleve in Darwinism, you vote egg... Or some phycotheary like that!
Hey- I don't write this stuff...

Well, Mike posted a very plausible answer in his "i'm psychic" thread. There were animals who laid eggs long before there were chickens. Therefore the egg was first.

I always knew that!
It's simple when you think about it!
And,yes,it was posted before,I'm pretty sure!:D

The Chicken came first, because how would the chick in the egg come out. If there is no Hen to sit on the egg to keep it warm.

God created each animal in animal form, therefore, the chicken came before the egg. The chicken then layed the egg to produce, the baby chicken and so on.

Ok... Lets say the egg is just rolling around, and all of a sudden it wonders- "HEY! Where did I come from?".
(This is the jist of a line from Chicken Run. The reason it isn't in quotation marks is because I don't know if I quoted it right.)
A already voted, but MR MAGOO proves half of my statement. Creationism = Chicken, Darwinism = Egg.
Please note, I am NOT saying that either theory is false, just that it DOES contribute some to your answer. Thank you, MR MAGOO, for your help in my little theory.

I think an egg was laid by a chicken-like creature, and when it hatched, it had freakishly mutated, giving it better survival skills, allowing the newly formed chicken to outpeck its kin, thus allowing for the reproduction of more chickens.... and eggs.
(darwism, ahhh, the logic)

Ahhh, but Flint LP- by your OWN reasoning, the egg that the mutant came OUT of origionally came first. True it wasn't nessicarily a chicken egg, but it still came first.

The egg.
Before chickens, animals had eggs. Not any of them containing chickens.
However, I would say egg.
First of all, creationism does NOT mean that there weren't animals before chickens. All animals have adapted in ways since the world's creation. A creature extremely close to a chicken but not a chicken could lay an egg containing a chicken. God could have created a creature before the chicken. After all, we have evolved in some ways since our creation (or evolution).
Correct me if this defies creationalism, because I am not relgious and would not know.
Darwinism = Egg, Creationalism = Either

How do we know that a radioactive moose didn't lay eggs that created chickens? Where did the Radioactive moose come from? Umm, volcano. :p

Or maybe some old chickens, who made new eggs, which became chickens.
