I am THIS close to killing my JCS!:mad:!In my latest level, I'm trying to use text events.BUT, the text I type is replaced by junk like:"Destroy your enemy 10 times to win", and "Nothing to see here.".Tell me what's wrong!I tried changing text strings, but still no luck!:mad: :mad: :mad: .Help!

The problem is that the filename of the level, as Roseta assumed, is a set of letters in some official level. Change the filename to something more original (E.G. STUPIDTEXT.j2l), and your problems should be fixed.

That doesn't seem to be the problem...(though the solution confused me.;) ). The level filename is TT.J2l, nothing like the official levels.(It's a test, if you must know) So...more help...?

You should just try and rename it to something different like TTWILLWORK.j2l or something. The error you described is common for level names that jj2 associates with itself.

Iam, it is because it IS like the official levels. "TT" is in the file name "Battle1.j2l" and that is what those strings are from. Just name it the full name, like if it was "ST" put "Super Tests" or whatever...:p

What's the title? That's what causes text screw-ups i think.

Yay, I changed it to "testoftime.j2l" and it's all fixed! Thanks!

This is why I always use filenames 5 letters or longer. :)
