A much needed program

I have an idea for a program which I would dearly like to be developed beyond text on a message board.

The idea:

An alert bot. A low memory program which you always have running in the system tray (not askbar, thus can't be accidently closed) which will make a noise on certain triggered events.

Some selectable options would be:

Beep on chat message.
Beep on player enter.
Beep on player exit.
Beep on roast/frag.

That way, when we are browsing the internet because we are waiting for people to join our server, we won't miss them when they come.

Also: I don't want replies like "Oh, I am working on this already. This idea is old." please.

Well, these aren't really that old of ideas. All of them are very good ideas that have been suggested before, but not used much. I'm not exactly sure why he posted this, but it brings up some interesting ideas. :)
